🎱 Official Tournament Rules
Break & Rack
- Rack your own.
- Alternate break.
- No intentional soft breaks.
- 8-ball made on the break spots immediately.
After the Break
- Table is open after the break.
- All balls are wild until groups are established.
- Must call the 8-ball pocket.
Fouls
- Any ball off the table = ball-in-hand.
- Ball-in-hand anywhere for all fouls.
- Moving a ball accidentally is NOT a foul unless:
- It hits another ball
- or crosses the shot line
- No 3-foul rule.
8-Ball Specific Rules
- Early 8-ball is a loss.
- Knocking the 8-ball off the table is a loss.
- Scratch on the 8-ball:
- If the 8-ball is made AND the shooter scratches → loss.
Clarification: Any scratch while shooting at the 8-ball is an automatic loss.
The 8-ball is NOT spotted.
